Amanda Rose Warren, the Artist Behind Alaska's “I Voted” Stickers
Alaska's new “I Voted” stickers have been getting plenty of attention this election season, and for good reason! Behind these whimsical designs is Alaskan artist Amanda Rose Warren, whose artwork celebrates the beauty, wildlife, and personality of our state.

A self-taught artist who has lived in Alaska for most of her life, Amanda has been creating art full-time for the past 11 years. Working primarily in acrylics and digital illustration, she draws inspiration from exploring Alaska, especially during the summer months when she travels between markets. Her artwork is full of colorful characters, playful details, and a sense of fun, from smiling mushroom bears and whimsical foxes to the occasional Alaskan unicorn!
Last year, Amanda was approached about creating a five-part series of stickers for the 2026 election. The result is “All Under One Aurora,” a collection featuring five Alaskan animals beneath a shared northern lights-inspired sky. Amanda wanted the designs to convey a sense of unity on a day that can often feel politically divisive. “No matter where people live or what their beliefs may be, Alaskans come together on Election Day to make their voices heard,” she explained. The aurora represents that shared connection, while subtle details inspired by the American and Alaskan flags celebrate America's 250th birthday.

The sticker representing Interior Alaska features a fox snuggled among fiddleheads, gazing up at the northern lights. Amanda chose the fox after spotting several during her summer drives to Fairbanks for local markets. It's a sweet connection to our part of the state and a wonderful example of how her travels inspire her artwork.
Seeing Alaskans proudly wearing and sharing her designs has been especially meaningful for Amanda. “It's honestly been overwhelming in the best way!” she shared. Whether it's longtime supporters sending photos or people discovering her artwork for the first time, she's loved seeing the enthusiasm surrounding the stickers. “There's been so much positivity, and people seem genuinely proud to wear and share them.”

If you'd like to explore more of Amanda's work, you don't have to travel far! Her artwork and products are available right here in Fairbanks at The Roaming Root Cellar, The Great Alaska Bowl Company, and Prospectors, among other local retailers. You can also browse her creations at artbyarw.com or visit her studio in Anchorage.
And for those who have fallen in love with this year's stickers, Amanda is releasing a limited run of “I Voted” art prints today, November 3! Be sure to check out her website to see what's available.
